Ruin of Reputation

A one session beginner puzzle dungeon adventure for Cairn, Ruin of Reputation has 10 rooms and should take around 3.5 hours. 

It is easily converted to any other OSR system of choice, and supplementary material is provided for continuing the adventure's story through a longer campaign.

You have all heard the legends of the late Javen the Orator - adventurer, storyteller and self-promoter who may have inspired you to take a similar path in life. Rumours of his tomb's location have reached your ears, a place deep in the forest where rewards are promised for those who can follow in Javen's footsteps and learn from his exploits.

Curiously though, the stories about Javen have started to change in the taverns and theatres. Perhaps he was not the man you thought he was? Or is there another reason why the townsfolk's memories of him are different from your own?
